…And here it goes again, like last year: My personal ranking of songs that came out in 2014 and impressed me in any way to a point that I’m still listening to them today.
I’ll try not to be too biased towards songs that came out recently, but also consider songs from this years’ beginning. 2014 has been a year full of too many good songs for me, so it was really hard to draw my conclusion. Let’s see…~
20. “Snake” – A-Jax
While A-Jax ranked pretty high last year, I barely heard anything from them this year. Still, this song managed to sneak inside my head and made itself quite comfortable there. While the video is kinda cute at best, but rather clisheé overall, the song itself is somehow catchy and kept me in a good mood. Woooh, I’m back! Sorta. I’m using an old netbook I lent, so my possibilites are still kinda narrow, but let’s see what we can do~
I’m now back from Korea aaa~nd, first thing I did…? I caught a cold. Seriously, it’s really warm here(about 25 Degrees), but the Korean temperature brings ‘hot’ to a totally different level. Why am I babbling about this? Can’t you see the poor pun on ‘hot songs’ announcing itself on the horizon? You can? Thank god, let’s skip this, then.
With the overflowing ‘sexy concepts’ everywhere, my opinion became just more refined lately. There are different types of sexy: One, the almost desperate undressing and showcasing of bare skin which, at times, is not only totally uneccessary(*cough* Nu’est’s Sleep Talking *cough*), but also incredibly awkward at other ones(BTS, I’m looking at YOU. I really love you and I do believe you; you have abs. No need to reassure me in every damn Choreo, ok?).
Now let’s drop the rant and move on to the second type, the one that gives me goosebumps because it’s really sexy.
1. When, Where, How from Park Kyung
I think you all know by now my love for the Block B’s bubbly rapper Kyung. It’s also probably safe to say that this duet on the ‘Very Good’ mini album came as a surprise in two ways. One: Kyung can not only be dorky, but also has an amazingly soft yet strong voice. Two: Damn, this song is sexy. It’s basically a song about lazy morning sex. Doesn’t sound too enticing, but the soft vocals carry lyrics that are very sensitive and colorful:

Ich habe mich uuunglaublich gefreut auf Block B’s Comeback, da Very Good einfach K-Pop technisch ein absolutes Highlight für mich war. Eigentlich höre ich very Good heute immernoch genauso enthusiastisch wie am Tag, an dem es erschienen ist :)
An so ein starkes Comeback anzuknüpfen und die Erwartungen zu erfüllen ist sicher nicht leicht, aber jetzt sind sie zurück, mit ‘Jackpot’. Nach der visuellen Bombe(*Haha*) die Very Good(…*jetzt reicht’s aber mit den schlechte Witzen*) war, war sicher nicht nur ich gespannt, was nun kommt – Und ich verspreche direkt, dass ich viiiele Screenshots gemacht habe.
Leider ist das Musikvideo bisher noch nicht in so bombiger Qualität zu sehen, aber man nimmt was man kriegen kann :<

Genau wie angekündigt hätten wir hier den Teaser zu Jackpot, den man sogar aus Deutschland ohne Probleme anklicken kann ♪
Die Farbstimmung am Anfang hat was von ‘Very Good’ und weckt sofort den Wunsch in mir, das Mv zum 1000 Mal zu sehen…~ Es war ja schon irgendwie klar, dass diese mysteriösen Personen die sie verfolgen die Jungs von Block B sind… ;) Das Ganze sieht nach einem irren Konzept aus, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes! Was ist mit diesen Vögeln…?! xD Ich bin jedenfalls gespannt wie ein kleines Kind und kann das Musikvideo kaum abwarten ♥ Minnie
…Nicht, dass sie lange weg gewesen wären. Oder wir sie vergessen hätten.
